When i got it new, the sound was very warm and soft, could be a little louder, but was already very good to play, easy and smooth. In the meantime it develops the sound becomes intense and is easy to modulate from fine soft to powerful and from warm to crystal clear. I put "Obligato" strings and an "Aubert" bridge on, witch i fit to the violin with a kitchen knife and some sandpaper. The strings support the wonderful tone and volume. Additional the violin is very beautiful and perfectly crafted. (besides the small scratches it had) The instrument is perfect for advanced players and orchestra music, especially house music, if that term exists.
