| This is a professional level violin by Beijing violinmaker Wang Wenqing, who is a well respected maker within China. Here we see influences of da Salo emblem design. This violin is made using Engelman Spruce, giving the violin a nice full voice. High quality boxwood with bone trimmings are used. The violin is oil varnished in seasoned in seasoned brown. The spruce is from Northeast China, known for their hardness, making a good full tone possible. Achieves outstanding projection and volume through a carefully calibrated high archings. Each instrument tonewood is tuned individually to achieve the optimum resonance possible for that piece of wood. The bass of matching density is then used, to ensure the instrument produces a big, brilliant, deep and rich tone. For pros only. | |

I’ve been looking at your violins for a while now. I’m very interested in the
Gasparo Da Salo 4-string violin. I think it is absolutely beautiful, but I not
sure I can afford it. There’s one on ebay but I’ve never done anything on ebay and is confusing to me. Can you give me more info on violin and
advice.
