4 Star Wang Wenqing Workshop The Royal 'English Jewel' Violin (Strad) [304]
| This is a professional level violin by Beijing violinmaker Wang Wenqing, who is a well respected maker within China. His signature violin models are the slightly higher archings, giving the violin an extra resonance. The result is a powerful violin with a nice full voice. High quality ebony fittings are used. The violin is oil varnished in seasoned brown/amber. The spruce is from Northeast China, known for their hardness, making a good full tone possible. Achieves outstanding projection and volume through a carefully calibrated high archings. Each instrument tonewood is tuned individually to achieve the optimum resonance possible for that piece of wood. The bass of matching density is then used, to ensure the instrument produces a big, brilliant, deep and rich tone. |
