5 Star Opera Workshop Master Level Violin Guarneri/Stradivarius Style [OP 800]
This is a master violin by my maker Dan Sun, a small workshop in Beijing.
It is oil varnished, and the varnish is made by one of our client-luthier-supplier in Italy. Even we do not know the exact formula. But we are blessed because of its easy availability to us. The tone is nicely balanced on all 4 strings and responsive. With its good projection, this violin is suitable for solo performances.
We used aged Austrian Spruce and Bosnian Maple for this top level violin. This master level violin achieves many highs in terms of tone. A wonderfully warm, mellow tone, and with the sophistication in tone you would find in an old violin. And the trademark balanced tone evident in all Opera violins. This particular violin is a very fine top quality violin. You can tell that the craftmanship is excellent in all ways. I particularly like the peg workmanship.
This violin is a no nonsense oil-varnished violin suitable for most professionals. Antiquated slightly for that fine touch, it is a violin with a lot of charisma. The market value for this violin easily exceeds USD3000.
Aged all European wood, Italian made varnish, German violin making high standards, exquisite Chinese craftmanship. This violin represents the combination of the best.
This violin is available in both Guarneri and Strad models.
