This violin was initially made for an orchestra soloist. His requirements was to achieve a big projection, while at the same time warm mellow tone. We had the help of a violinmaker in US, who introduced a unique technique to improve the tone of the violin. Apart from tonewood treatment, the internal architecture of the violin also had some changes made according to achieve a certain scientific measurement target. Because of a patent protection, we are unable to review how different it is. But soon after the first few copies were made, this technique was proven to improve the violin in a certain number of ways. We have permission from our violinmaker to make this model as long as we do not review ways in which this violin was made. So here, we hope this special master model can find its way to find a new home in the hands of a professional player. Made with all european tonewood, this violin has influences from Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume’s copy of the Strad Messiah.
