5 Star Zeng Workshop Master Violin with Fine Tonewoods and Excellent Tone [Zeng Master]
| This violin uses naturally air dried tonewoods (of at least 18 years) from the Russian mountains. Because of the proximity of these mountains compared with our workshop in Beijing, the cost is much lower than tonewood from Europe, yet the growing conditions of these tonewood is very much similar to those in Europe, giving it comparable tonal qualities. Many musicians have been happy with their Russian violins from us. The straight grains on the top spruce is amplified by the Italian oil varnish that we apply. The inherent good tonal qualities of these woods enables the violin to vibrate freely and project a sweet sound, not equal to an old master violin, but instantly beautiful on the first stroke of the bow. To match the top quality of this violin, we have set it up with Dominant Strings and a French Aubert LUXE A bridge. | |
