Hi!! I just bought a beautiful 4/4 violin from you! I love it so much and am rather eager to return home to my local orchestra to try it out in the orchestra!!
I play in both the Violin and Viola sections of the Barrier Reef Orchestra. It is based in Townsville, but players from all over Queensland (most specifically the North), come and play with us. We have been conducted by some well known conductors, John Hopkins; David Lawrence; Raymond Yong and Sean O’Boyle!
Thank-you for such an amazing instrument!!!
Dear JP,
I am taking this opportunity to come back to you after buying your ‘Kloz’ reproduction baroque viola a few months ago. I see you have featured one of the orchestras I play for above.
I am very happy with the instrument! In fact I now use in preference to my original 18th century ‘Joseph Hill’ viola……so it must be doing something right! My colleagues are also quite taken by it. I tried unsuccesfully to bid on a couple of examples before just going for the ‘BIN’ but have absolutely no regrets. The viola looks the biz and has great potential I think to really sing. I have given over a dozen public concerts with it in the last few months and it is holding its own.
In the spirit of ‘constructive criticism’ I would respectfully suggest, if you get the chance, to suggest to the workshop that they spend a little more time getting the fingerboard right.
Although baroque instruments had flatter radiused boards, not I think, this flat….also the fingerboard on mine was not correctly ‘scooped’. In fact quite the opposite and it took some effort to get the action workable. Normally this would be a none issue, but the fact that the f/board is inlaid makes remedial action difficult. Apart from that….what a wonderful instrument…….and all credit to you and your workshops for making such things available to us all at such happy cost! Thank You!
Dear JehPin,
I am Egbert, and old customer of yours from Madeira. I am returning to your shop in order to purchase a few items and found out you are excluding Portugal from your delivering destinations – From my recollections we had never any reason for complaining about our deliveries. Can I assume this predicament will not compromise a long lasting trading relations we have built in the past years?
Please advise if you can make an exception in consideration to our previous business experience.
Regards,
Egbert
Hello. please sent my regards to Edmundo. I remember him. I have replied to your email with photos. Please let me know if you have not received it. thanks. JP

Hi, Jehpin!
I bought a cello bow from you about 1 1/2 ago and am still very satisfied with it.
Maybe I didn’t tell you at the time, but I play in the Symphonic Orchestra of Namur, an amateur orchestra conducted by Michel Deom, a professional violin player, composer and conductor.
If you follow the link above, you will see some shots of the orchestra!
All the best!
